just about where I want to be

Once bitten,
Twice shy
Seemed to be the motto
To describe my life.

I thought I was ugly,
Fat and so uncool
I was so depressed
I started to fail school

But when I saw you
A smile in your eyes
And a smile on your face
Promising no lies

But I was a fool
There were lots of trials
I began to think bad thoughts again
Despite your many smiles

But now those thoughts are gone
A smile is on my face
For I know that now..
Love has found it's place

this is a repost...this is the first one i wrote that I posted here..thought I'd give you another look at it...I also revised the last sentence..sounds better now.

Tell me what ya'll think!

I liked this one alot. I have felt this way, but the smile has not yet returned.

It's heart-breaking.

This is a great insperational poem! I remember reading it back in Dec. when you posted it. Good job.
