just about where I want to be

It's time for me to go now
I'm off to a better place
Don't cry mother
You knew all the time

I should've listened to you
And stayed away from drugs
But everyone was doing it
And they said I'd be fine

The didn't tell me I'd get addicted
And get black circles around my eyes
They didn't mention the paleness of my skin
Or my shaking hands

Oh mother please forgive me!
I know now that I was wrong
Can't the doctors save me?
I don't want to die!

I want to go to my senior prom
And experience love at first sight
What was it like mommy? when you met daddy?
Was it love at first sight?

My eyes are getting heavy mom
Keep me awake
I'm not tired
Say I'm forgiven
I Love....

I know Marilyn said 2 per day, but those two I posted were my sis's so I decided to post one of my own..hope ya'll like it!

This was really good. It had so much feeling in it. It's also a good message. It should be posted EVERYWHERE.
