Thoughts on my mind
Are never words spoken.
Ignorance is a bliss
Of unhindered wishes.
Ignorance is a burden
Of undesired wishes.
Fate is pushing me
At what lies ahead.
I alter the hands of time
For the haunting beauty
Of the unresting past.
Chances never taken light
The fire and fury that
Are burning around me.
When the pursuit is
No longer yours to hold,
The hunger grows deep
And the will, out of reach.
