I fell in love with you the moment I saw you,
Hair of golden blonde, eyes of crystal blue.

Soon I got to know you, or so I thought I did,
I only saw the mask you wore, that underneath you hid.

On the phone we talked each and every day,
You were just so wonderful in every single way.

I thought we hared something hard to find,
I guess I listened to my heart and not my mind.

I heard the warnings from my friends and even from the Lord,
Which I did not listen to and carelessly ignored.

Now you have left me broken hearted and alone,
And gone is the love that for me you once had shown.

But my friends are all still by my side,
Along with my best friend and one true guide.

My Master, King of Kings, and Lord,
Jesus Christ- son of God who is no longer ignored.

He gives me all the love I will ever need,
I'm no longer alone and my soul has finally been freed.

Welcome to Passions

. I really like this poem, I can relate all to well. But each and every time I come back to the Lord and I believe he will lead me to my one true love. Great poem, hope to see more soon
