I'm not going to fail. Living in the Getto life Like everyone says isn't easy It's like hell on earth But only worse. Drive by's, babies cry. Watching your back makin sure you don't die. Moma throwin babies in the trash can. Can't get a brother to step up and be a man. All these years in the getto life. You think someone would clean up and face reality. But they don't. And they won't. Its like they think this is where they belong. But I have been here too long. I am saying goodbye to drive by's. My man can come but the guns got to stay. Because I want my baby to grow up where he can look people in the face and say "My daddy a man, he got out of the getto life and took a stand." No more guns, no more drugs, no more jail.
