I was convinced So sure That he was it That I had never before experienced feelings so strong But I was wrong. I never noticed it before But every time my hand brushes yours Electricity shoots through me And every time you're near I think of nothing but having your arms around me And every time we're apart I think of you And how I want you close It's amazing how quickly Feelings come and feelings go But I can't help but wonder If maybe you're it And maybe I'm it for you The one who can keep you By my side But, in my heart, I know I'm not As the distance grows And differences increase I know. But I don't want to believe it. I know that I've only known you For a very short time But I can't imagine what life would be like Without you Cold, and lonely My life would be a desolate place Without you beside me |
