I wrote this poem when I was in the seventh grade. I had just been sexually assaulted by a family 'friend' my age, and I wrote this to my friends, because I definitely was not acting like myself.

I know I haven't been myself lately
Why do you put up with me?
I don't deserve you
I'm so sorry
I just feel so bad
A part of me is gone and I don't even know how to start looking for it.
