What is life but endless nights slow days, Monets, and Christmas lights days when the phone rings and rings what is life but little things? Sneakers baring tiny toes loud clocks, warm socks, and present bows... Broken balsa airplane wings what is life but little things? paper cuts, and broken pinkies, dress ups, mess ups, tangled slinkies... The song a perfect stranger sings what is life but little things? Late night movies, black and white winks, ice rinks, clown night lights… not knowing what tomorrow brings What is life but little things. The silence of a cyrstal night, A new day dawning clear and bright. The sparkle in the small childs eye, A single star up in the sky. A flower blooming in your sight, Something accomplished with your might. A soothing touch of one so dear, A whispered word right in your ear. Christmas lights brightly aglow, The look of fresh fallen snow, Children filled with glee, Being in awe of all they see. Melting icecream on summer days, Morning's enveloped in misty haze, The scent of a lover's skin, The embrace of cherished kin. Skirts fluttering upon the breeze, The roar of the deep azure seas.
