I Admire the One... I admire the one who is strongest when weak, and is hardly ever knocked down. But when she is, she gets right back up, with both feet on the ground. I admire the one who's beauty, is more than just skin-deep. Who my love for in my heart, will always and forever keep. Her love for life grows stronger every day, which passes by. But she has her share of troubles, perhaps more- you can see it in her eyes. I admire the one who stands proud and tall, taking life as it comes. Her power in spirit, as well as mind, in one word- strength- it sums. She keeps quiet about her troubles, with a smile on her face. She isn't quick to judge, she determines at her own pace. I wish I had her courage, so by life I'm not overthrown. But these characteristics, only she can possess, in her and her alone. ------------------ *~*Laura*~* "Dream over me with a tear, anything it takes to wish me here. Magic and sweet lulabyes, any lucky penny will do fine to wish me here." -Nikki Hassman "Any Lucky Penny" |

I really liked your poem. It kinda reminds me of the person I admire. That is my mother. |

These qualities that you admire so much are earned. You learn these things as you live. As you are knocked down, as you hurt abd as you heal. These are things you can posess. All you have to do is want to have them and strive to achieve them. |
