This is my first attempt to post a poem into this forum, so pardon me if it's not very well-written.

A time not long ago

A time not long ago,
When time stood frozen still.
When I knew you were made for me,
And I was made for you.
You looked me in the eye,
And asked for a promise.
A promise that I can't keep
A promise left in mist.

Now I regret heavily,
For what I did wrong.
For everything that had once been,
Has long since been but gone.
Where does your love for me lay?
A time not long ago, it was there.
But now as I search the warren lands,
Love seems bleak for all is bare.

i liked it alot...it reminded me of my parents and how they did love each other...and now all of a sudden they dont..because they cheated on each other... thanks...i love when i can realate to other ppls poems...
