or just how much i care.
you'll never know how my heart leaps,
just because you're there.

i love you from a distance,
i'm too afraid to come close.
because, rejection is unbarrable,
when it comes from whom you love most.

you'll never know how i adore your smile,
how i tingle when it shows.
and how i get a warm sensation,
running from my head to my toes.

you'll never know how i feel,
because my fellings will never be made known.
i tell you nothing of my love,
though it means being alone.

This is great!! I can tell that it comes strait from the heart! The words you chose made the poem flow so well, it just lept right off the screen into my heart! I especially love the 2nd stanza, that is great! This poem could be like a theme for my life as of late!! Well, anyway, I do love this poem and I can't wait to read some more!! Thanks for sharing!

Very nice, Laura! I felt like that for the longest time.... but have found that sometimes it is best to get it out in the open and let it all play out. But I know the situation varies, so I just hope it all works out for you!

Welcome to Passions Laura. I, also could feel this piece.

In reference to the muse for this piece: It is hard to deal with feelings when they are kept inside. Even if you do not tell him in particular. Do you have a close friend that you trust? Your family...or us of course..

Incredible poem! That is exactly hte way I felt about this one girl or ten years. Now it is how I feel about another girl because the first one rejected me five months ago. You're right. It definently hurts being rejected by the one you love most.
