This is a poem my mother wrote. It was written in a book of poems she wrote a long time ago. It was my favorite poem in the book and i have already pursuaded her to send it to a few publishers and it is now published in 2 books. I hope you all enjoy is as much as i do. ~*Dreams*~ Find a place amongst the trees To choose now, should I die And let the wind speak softly Like a whisper from the sky. Find a mountain tall enough To protect and never cease And I will live so easily In this place where I've found peace. ANd let the thunder give commands Should the birds and mammals hear So when the sunshine turns to rain It will not bring them fear. Steadily, the snow will fall And the seasons come and go The weeds will grow like wild fire Like dreams of long ago.... And my soul will search no longer The rainbow's at the end And the sweet desire of reality Will bring me home again... By: Sandra Kay Peters Please respond and tell me what you think. My mom doesn't realize how talented she really is. |

I think this is wonderfully written. She should be very proud of herself. The flow is smooth and the imagery is vivid. I can see why this has been published. |

This is most definitely worthy of publishing...very vivid and beautiful. Your mother has a wonderful talent. ![]() ------------------ *Krista Knutson* "If my heart had wings, I would fly to you and lie beside you as you dream....." ~Faith Hill: If My Heart Had Wings~ |
