I wrote this poem for a very close friend of mine. She was a victim of rape. The person was her best friend that walked away from her. That just tells you that you should be carful of the friends you pick. Don't Take The Girl We've been friends forever it seems. I never thought I would see the day you Would turn your back on me. That night was cold and full of fear. As seven guys gained up on me and riped my Cloths from the seems. They all cheered As they saw me screaming and crying, and only feeling like dying. All you could do was stay and stare, As a little girl was being raped right there. She sat there dazed and confused. All she wanted to do was tell you your mom Was calling you. But what did you do? You turned and walked away from a little Girl with tears of pain. But as the days and night's, turn into years You would know That's not the way to get a girl. |

This poem was very touching and sad. I hope your friend realizes that you care and gets past all of it alright. The poem had a lot of meaning and was very well written- even tho it was very depressing, i enjoyed reading it! Keep it up! ~Kayla~ |
