When I’m with you I feel cherished Like I’m richer than gold When you smile at me Chills run down my spine The way you stand so close My heart races I’ve never felt this way before Could it just be an illusion? Your warm hand clasping mine Brings comfort to my fears I carry a song in my heart Everywhere I go A song for you A song for me A song for us as one This feeling Though I can’t explain it Is one I won’t forget I wish it could be this way Until the end of time But rolling with the punches Is something I’ll learn to do But I’m starting to think That this feeling I hold for you Is the one everyone else calls “Love.” |
