It snaps and it bites numbing your skin,
Slinking through the cracks to get within.
It has a cold and unforgiving glance,
Leaving the exposed without a chance.
Oh yon bitter wind you can't chase me,
You'll never freeze this heart of mine.
You'll never ever get to me,
I've left all my bitterness behind.
Warm is the blood that flows through these veins,
Warm is the love that it contains.
I feel my love wherever I may be.
Oh yon bitter wind you can't get to me.
