In memory of Anna Ahmatova Last night, during my hours of leisure, I remember, I wrote something exciting But this morning, I awoke with amnesia Unable to interpret my writing As if someone was guiding my pen, Directed by much stronger forces, Not a word can I comprehend For the exception of two simple verses I know I won’t write nothing greater To me, these lines are eternal “...because I’ve ran out of paper I write my thoughts in your journal”* *"...because I’ve ran out of paper I write my thoughts in your journal" is a beginning of one of Ahmatova's poems. |

Master, is this true? If so, could you post the writing in it's entirety? BTW......there's a double negative...."I know I won’t write nothing greater" Might want to fix that ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |

It is true, but I couldn't post the writing in its entirety because I read it in its original (russian) version and then I just translated those two lines into English. I'll try to find a translation on the internet, but I can't gurantee anything. Thanks for the correction, I don't know how I missed that one! |
