What would you do? Would you try to hide your mistakes? Run across the Great Lakes? Or even in one day, Bake a trillion cakes? For the love of the one you love, Would you make the impossible Seem so realisicly possible? Would you walk to the ends of the Earth? Climb atop the Statue of Liberty? How much would it be worth? Just to hear them say I love you Even if you were filthy dirty, Would it still mean as much to hear them say I do? Just to hear the 3 words that are most important Would you never say that you cant? Would you try to find someone new Just to see what they would do? Would you purposely be late? Just to hope that the dreamed anticipation wouldn't turn into hate? Do you ever wish for the clean slate? Or to find the thing that would be perfect bait? Even if you couldn't And even if she wouldn't What would you do? For the love of the one you love? Welcome to Passions. I am not sure how to respond to this poem. I am not sure of the form you were attempting here either. I am of an older generation and have learned much about love. I would respect my partner and show my caring but I would not compromise myself in the giving. I hope this made some sense?..lol. |

Great job, this poem gives some good examples of how far or how much you would do for love. I like it. |
