Together: Alone Together, they'll stare out the window, into the street. Together, these souls are still alone. Alone and obsolete. Together, they'll dream of a life so complete. Together, these hearts remain alone. They must retreat. Apart, they take on untaken paths to find a friend. Apart they prosper with who they are and in the end-- Together bound by foolish terms never going far; apart, for reasons noble and true, they'll learn just who they are. Jeremy D. Halstead |

Great, there are two sides to this poem...sad but true. I completely agree with "Together bound by foolish terms never going far; apart, for reasons noble and true, they'll learn just who they are." Really honest...REAL. |

You definately have a very unique way of combining your words and thoughts to mean more than just what the words claim. I think I have probably read all of your poems and they are wonderful! can't wait to read your next one! ~*~Jessica~*~ |
