Light dapples through entangled clouds Tumbling gently in a silver flow I wander upon a cleansing breeze A phantom within reality Golden threads are fraying Freedom floods upon feathered wings My soul is drifting away Melancholy sweetness blooms Like spicy fragrance from a rose Lost within the silence am I Yet somehow unafraid The deepest comfort found in me The binds have now broken That once held me here Like crystal sands I slip through your fingers And gently float away Alone is how I choose to be Gracing the lightly glittered sky For all of time Remember me, my cherished love, For I live in you. ------------------ *Krista Knutson* Wise is he who faces the frailty of man with the strength of an understanding heart. -- Daniel L. Beautiful poem Krista! I can't believe I almost let this one slip by... great imagery and writing. I really enjoyed this one! *Abrahm Simons* Put one foot on the path of life, tread the dagger's path betwixt dark and light. [This message has been edited by Dusk Treader (edited 03-02-2000).] |
