The One I Love...


All night long in my bed...
I look for the one my heart loves.
His eyes...two twinkling stars,
falling from the dark night sky.
His voice...deeper than the ocean,
but softer than the softest cloud.
His kisses...so sweet,
Send a thousand bolts of lightning
all through my body.
The feel of his heart...
beating so close to mine,
chases all my fears away.

I have found my love
but too soon, he has to leave.
although distance can separate us,
and time can come between us,
the place he holds in my heart
can never be replaced.
