I had a dream of a magical place a place far far away. where all my wishes and dreams come true with every word i would say I wished for a mansion with a hundred rooms so tall that it kissed the sky. I wished for a mountain, i wished for the ocean and i wished for a chance to fly. I wished for riches of gold and silver, so much to fill my delight I wished for the sun the moon and the stars i wished for day and for night. In all my wishes and all my dreams every last one came true. But if i was granted just one wish, i know that i would wish for you. |

Nice ending..... I have one other comment- When all of your wishes are granted, many of your dreams will be destroyed ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |

That's a nice poem. It kind of sounds like mine, The Beauty of Dreams. |

man systamatic decay, i never thought of it that way. Way to ruin my day, actually my whole life, all i have left after the woman i wrote this too left me is the dream that maybe some teen, some lonely teen, might really understand how i feel, that they might see past my dreams and wishes and into my very soul, thats what poetry is for me, its a window to my soul, I think i see you looking in systamatic decay, good to hear from you, i will look for your window too. leave the light on for me MG4 [This message has been edited by MG4 (edited 11-06-1999).] |
