Distance between us increases, The wind freezes me numb, Wanting your warm kisses, On these frozen lips you love, I'm drowning in deep water, I'm nothing without your love, What happened to our happy ever after, Our perfect love from the angels above. Never let go of this heart, Never let go of me, Even though we are apart, We have to prove we are meant to be, With all my soul I still love you, They ripped our hearts away, But they haven't a clue, How much it hurt that day. There is an empty space, In my soul unoccupied, It's your old place, That can't be denied, Tears stream our cheeks, Frozen to our faces, Warmth of love we seek, Of silks and laces. Dark comes from light, You turn into a shadow, Yet you glow in the night, You're all I know, You're all I miss, The hurt is painfully scratching, Don't wanna feel like this, As it heals it's itching, And I am nothing without you, without you. Whoa....what happened? Are you going to tell us the story behind this one? Last I read of you, you were blissfully in love with Nate... The poem is very good, I can feel the pain in it and the longing. So please tell me what goes on behind it!!
