To the graduating class of 2000: We all have a path that we must travel, A path that leads us in different directions. And although some of us are scared We know in our hearts that we'll make it out there all on our own. But the memories we have made in these past 4 years will never fade. We've shared tears of pain and sorrow, And tears of joy. And as we walk across the stage, some of us with tears in our eyes, know that today truly is the first day of the rest of our own lives....... This poem is written for all of my friends that I have to part with and all of the ones I leave behind. |

Gina~ I liked this, and I know we're probably both gonna cry on graduation day. Well, I hope you'll keep in touch with me even when you go off to college... Now, it's not the first day of the rest of our lives- today is... ![]() Love ya babe, Kristi Lynn |

Sunshine- LOL, I'm writing a poem right now to this same effect, a dedication to the graduating class of 2000, but yours is indeed excellent. I enjoyed reading it. And, yes, I probably will cry. ...Daysleeper... "Presently I've had enough of all your sanity." -James Kavanaugh |
