MY HEAD SPINING IN CIRCLES,
THINKING ABOUT YOU ALL THE TIME.
MISSING YOUR PRESENTS,
WISHING FOR YOU TO BE MINE.

IT WAS ALL HEAVEN,
UNTIL IT WENT THE WRONG WAY.
UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING,
BUT THINK ABOUT YOU ALL DAY.

AFRAID OF LOSING YOU,
GIVING YOU TIME AND SPACE.
AT THE SAME TIME,
MISSING YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR SITUATION,
NOT TRYING TO RUSH YOU IN ANYWAY.
NUMBER ONE PRIORTIY,
LISTENING TO ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY.

TIME RAN AWAY,
TEARING UP MY POOR HEART.
SILENCE RAN TO LONG,
AS WE GREW FAR APART.

NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO,
IF I SHOULD LET YOU GO ON YOUR WAY.
I CAN’T LET YOU GO,
REALIZING I MUST STAY.

TIMES ARE DIFFERENT,
TENSION GROWS AS WE SPEAK.
NEEDING YOU BACK,
KNOWING YOUR NOT THERE MAKES ME WEAK.

IN TIME I WILL JUST LET IT ALL OUT,
SHARING WHAT I FEEL DEEP INSIDE.
THE TIME IS ARRIVING SOON,
FOR NOW MY TRUE FEELINGS WILL HIDE.

PRAYING EVERY NIGHT,
THAT YOU STILL POSSES FEELINGS FOR ME.
IF THAT IS TRUE,
THEN WHY IS IT HARD FOR YOU TO SEE.

I’VE BEEN HOLDING BACK,
IT IS TIME TO GIVE MY ALL.
I WILL NOT REST,
AND I WON’T LET MY SELF FALL.

I hope it isn't too late for you and the one you love...don't give up, ok? If it doesn't work out, it isn't meant to be. Be strong whatever happens. Beautiful poem.

Welcome to Passions!

This poem is excellent but it is so sad.
I agree with what Lizzie said about staying strong and not giving up.
Love is such a special thing and if you still feel it, don't give it up.
