I thought this was an appropriate place to post this poem.. well, I was kinda in a depressed mood when I wrote this, so not the worlds most cheerful poem.. but see what you think.. read it with an open mind, as to what the subject of this poem is.. ^_^

The Waves of the Wild

The Wild.
It’s in your mind.
It takes your heart,
And squeezes it.
It plays with your thoughts,
‘till it’s driving you crazy.
It steals your screams,
So no-one can hear you,
Pleading for help,
To untie confused knots.
It takes your perception,
And pulls it to pieces.
You don’t know what’s real,
What to believe,
Or what to know.
It tosses you around,
Like a ship on water,
Going under,
The waves of the Wild.

I think it is a very good poem...it certainly held my attention from start to finish!
