Freedom is all that is left to me,
But are we really free?
For when we truelly try,
It becomes nought but a lie.

In freedom, we try to attain,
We try to contain and maintain,
In all that we do and say,
And become a slave that way.

Our search for freedom,
Takes all our time of day,
And will search for a way,
And we will till the day it is done.

Sam~
You know, I really shouldn't be reading these things so early in the morning.  I haven't even been awake an hour...
Good job on your poem, sorry I'm still half dead in reading it.
Love ya,
Kristi Lynn

heh, that is okay. Personaly I like to read poetry in the morning, but then, that is just me, and I have always been odd.

Mornings are meant for sleep,
just like nights.
I stay up late and sleep late,
except on school nights,
like these past few days.
