He left me on cold day, Late back in last July. The only words I remember, Was what can I do and why? His touch is still upon me, I can remember his kiss. The times that he held me in his arms, To me was a heavenly bliss. The scent that wafted over, Through the cold winter air. Still reminds me of the times, That he said he'd always be there. Love is what he called his feelings, But I know that he was untrue. I am sick of being lonely, I just want to hold you. his sweet voice was filled, With desperation and despair. how can you say that you need me, Then pretend that you don't care? my dreams will always be, Memories I thought would be forever. But I know deep down in my heart, That we should always be together. |

anonymoufemale, this is a nice poem. Sounds like he is playing mind games with you. Be true to yourself, and hang onto your heartstrings, less the wrong person tugs on them with wrong intention. Your poem has nice rhyme and structure. Look forward to more of your work. |
