People today are going through a scary time. The world is full of such despair and crime There's no moral value, it's a frightful thought of the future, and what it will go through. It gets worse as the years progress, We think of us more and others less. We help are selves with greed, And not a thought crosses about those in need. There's no peace around, Violence and hate is all that's found. In another country a starved baby cries. And our own president tells us lies. Sometimes you can't trust anyone. I pray for loving new generations, That bring happy creations I hope people will change the ways of this world before it's to late! PLEASE STOP THE Hate! ___________________________________________ Over the years it seems like every time you watch the news there's some teen killed by gun fire, Drug abuse, gang fights, homiside or suicide. And with the Littlton Colorado tragedy there has been tons of threats at my school, and Im afraid to go to school, it's not a safe place anymore.The fighting in Kozavo, Theres no world peace. Im starting to get scared to leave my my own house. Im very afraid for the future. The world is turing to violence. Misty, although I acn empathize, I don't share your feelings of fear. The world really isnt as dangerous as it seems. Yes, hate is out of control, and I believe it should be stopped, mainly for reasons of personal freedom. good point in this poem. What I mean by no moral value is, like, Some parents let there kids do anything and don't teach them right from wrong and so they can't teach their kids, and like after you get married that's the time to, "DO IT," Not just because you feel like it, it's a sacred thing, and manners to, it's just people only think of them and not of those around them or those to come. It's alot, what I mean in this poem I just can sum it up, Yes there are still good people out there, it's just the violence and hatred are so much stronger then the little love and values this world has left! i just can't say all that Im trying to!
