In the back of my mind I see a love, A love that has been so far and fair, Someone once so special, Tragedy struck and was broken, In the back of my mind he stands. In the back of my mind I see a loss, A sad goodbye that was so in heart, Someone now so distant, Tears of sorrow fall over my cheeks, In the back of my mind I see. In the back of my mind he stands I see, A dream out of no where comes to be, Something I really don’t understand, Thoughts spin around in confusion, Sadness again comes to this forgotten face, I glance, I look, his forgotten embrace, As if we are together again, In relief to me cause now I see, But I ask: “Does he still love me?” Jennye T. this was a beautiful poem... very omniscious sentiments... great job! Regret for things you did maybe tempered by time, regret for things you Didn't do, however, is inconsolable... -------823------- |

This was a very sentimental, touching poem. I really like this poem. I'm new so I haven't had a chance to see much of anyones work. I'll look forward to another from you. |
