I long for one to hold me tight,
never leave in the midst of the night.
To cherish my mind and heart,
that foolish things wont tear us apart.
A freind to understand my inner self,
this heart thats been put up on a shelf.
To disreagard all my pains in the past,
a tender hand for me to grasp.
The smile to haunt my dreams each night,
to lead me past all of my fright.
Just someone for me to hold,
an unknown thought that remains untold.

Maitay, I think this poem is very sweet and beautiful, too. The touch of sadness at the end really did well to finish the poem. I like.
