Religion (RePLy please!)

Recently
I met Him,
in the midst of my teary peers,
I was sitting next to Him.
Yeah, HIM.
With His kind face,
His loving arm around me,
His daughter.
And what a feeling.

15 years of my life wasted,
until that night,
when I got my life back on track.
Through Him,
and oh, what a feeling of joy
surges through me still.

I remember the tears
that streamed down my face,
as I sang the words of praise.
I accepted Him into my life.
And oh what I life I can say
that I honestly live now.

**poet's note: People, I don't mean to be preaching religion here. This is just to share the great feeling I recently experienced. So people who may not share the samve views as I do on religion or beliefs, please do not post saying how I should keep my religious beliefs to myself. Thx!

Sliver, you have every right topost this. Though I don't share your religious beliefs, I really enjoyed this poem. You can feel the love radiating from it.

Im not into religion, but I felt the meaning and love in this poem, I enjoy reading it!

Actually, Silver, I reread this, and I think a different title could describe it better. Religion is belief in a God or gods, with certain rules you should abide by. Religions also have a name. This is by no means a religious poem. It is a spiritual poem.
