Autumn People Autumn people linger at their tasks they don't worry at what wasn't done today- a seemly easygoing lot. Summer people are always hurrying to do more than longer daylight hours allow- an unsettled group they are. Winter persons are never seen about worn out thinking of the work from summer- a tired bunch I think. Spring folk are just young summer people they can't wait to turn the clock ahead- an impatient brood. It's Autumn people I feel closest to... they're as colorful as a the leaves on a maple- a breath of fresh October air. I am an Autumn being lingering at my taks not worrying about chores to be done. RB PS: I am doing this all by hand since the virus and I am the worst proofreader in the world. Please excuse any mistakes for awhile!!! ------------------ if you can dream; you can fly...if you are flying; you are dreaming. |
