Last night I had this incredible dream
I dreamt that you were here with me
As you looked into my eyes you softly whispered
I love you, now, always and forever
Gently, you kissed me and took my breath away
so quickly you were out of reach you'd begun to fade
I tried to catch you but I wasn't fast enough
And before I knew it, I had lost all your love
Suddenly, I awoke with tears in my eyes
Because I knew you never would be mine
Still, my dreams keep me wishing for you,
My mind playing tricks all my past coming true
Some may say I have a selfish kind of love
When yours is all I ever dream of.....

Thinking about the past and wondering about the future..
