I was searching through some of my older writing and I stumbled upon a poem that one of my friends wrote. For some reason I just decided to post it...... The better days that never were, all seem to be only a blur. People and time all move too fast, I stay behind just to be last. Innocence lost and innocence thrown, are just little things I've known. To throw it all away couldn't do a thing, but kill a never ending sting. The ride called life moves up and down, but the people screaming make no sound. |

Lynn...I think your friend nailed this on the dot...Too true! The last two lines especially! Thanks for posting it! ------------------ ~*~ Time erases and rewrites all the lines. What remains is the poetry! ~*~ |

Echo.....I agree with you on this poem. He is a very good writer. He writes mostly gothic and very dark poetry. Him and I have done many works together, and he always can sum up what I'm feeling. I have one him and I wrote together that I am going to post as soon as I can retrieve it. |
