I knew when I had too much to drink, when the pink elephants showed. Had too many purple cows I think, as into the room they strode. I've always known that they were my friends, since they show up when I'm drunk. Drunken stupor their showing portends, throwing me into a funk. They listen to every little gripe, then give me such sage advice. They tell me which women aren't my type, and show me which ones are nice. My pink elephant friends start to fade, delusions brought on by booze. I have never had a conversation with a pink elephant. Then again I am a lush of the worst kind. 2 or 3 drinks and I am done for, ready to sleep it off. LOL. Great job on this one DE. |
