When my time comes this earth to part,
...and leave what we call life,
Remember me not as a man,
...but as a man and wife,
For what I was has ceased to be,
...the day I said I do,
My life exists in partnership,
...a whole made up of two,
So when I die, I hope they etch,
...upon grave's monument,
"A Husband and a Father Dear,
...We Have to Heaven Sent."

Mike, what lovely sentiments! You are blessed! And so are the wife and kids!

It sounds as if both you and your wife had hit the jackpot of life. Long may you both live!

This is a lovely poem Mike, you should repost it to the Two Challange I think.

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

Your "music" flows sweetly, in the virtue of one, the lady and the gentleman.  The fragrance transcends bouquet!  Excellent
