Sweetheart please don't cry You know each time you do I die Each tear you cry tears me apart Thorns pierce my very heart Holding you close till the storm abates Cursing out loud the miserable fates That’s left you shattered and in such pain For your relief is my only aim I'll tell you a story short and sweet Even let you make fun of my big feet Remember how we first did meet? I think I ran into you on the street I saw your beauty right there and then And knew I knew you and who you had been Right from the start you had my heart Never from you will I part My friends did laugh at me so But your love they shall never know How you brought my from darkest despair Just with just a glance at you heart so fair A walk in the woods holding hands Sitting in the sun on pure white sands A warm fire on a snowy night Holding each other seems so right So love dry those tears I'm here to calm your deepest fears Next to my heart I hold you dear Now my love no more tears ------------------ Illusion...what we see and what we do...it's all up to you. |

How did I miss this one.... I love this poem. It took me to days when my heart had a love to share and there was nothing I wouldn't do to keep her eyes dry. Brings a tear to my eye...something that hasn't been there in much, much too long. ------------------ Deverone "We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled.
