Everybody talkin' Villanelle,
A challenge so I've seen,
But it's been done so very well.

I know there's different types,
Some I've never heard of
And there's few I didn't like.

I've never thought about it,
The "Villanelle" thinggie
But I think I'll stick to chocolate.

Oh wait, that's not what ya mean?
Villanelle's a poem form?
Ya didn't mean ice cream?

Michael...no man...really, it's okay...it's this piece of crap I posted above..it's not you...really, don't go back to bed...it'll be okay....Ron's just having a "movement"..yea, that's it...He'll probably tell you and some of the others how to access the new place...really....it's been nice knowing ya all though!!!

Hey, Toe! You should give one a try. You're a teacher, ain't ya? Telling kids to learn and study 'n stuff? So do it. I'll bet you would be surprised how well you could do.

thanks gang for all the response....I swear, (as if yall hadn't noticed), I don't know diddly about poetry. I wrote Suthern today tellin' her I figured this meant the first line need to rhyme with the third line, and three is all ya do I think?....I was just playin' and I do wish I had the expertise to do something really good. I'm just a clown, I love this place and all the folks here and just like to play. I don't know how to write poetry. Just play....But thanks for the very kind things yall always seem to reply with to me....Yall are great folks!

Balladeer....I wish I could my friend. I just don't know enough about all this stuff? I am reading however. I checked out several books about poetry yesterday just to find out what the hell all of you real poets are talking about....LOL....Thanks again for the confidence my friend, but, it will be a while before I attempt anything seriously "poet-like".....Now, if ya wanna take voice lessons, guitar lessons, Hapkido lessons, or how to get a gal outta her pants?...I can give ya a phone number?
