From Rainbow down to Suthern All those poets in between I'm glad you're here at Passions Best people I've ever seen Ol Balladeer and Toerag You will always have a part The two of you crack me up And your tender in my heart Hoot this one's for you because... You're a warm and caring friend Simply love your poetry May your writings find no end Lucie and Sailor LongJohn Had me smilin from the start Both funny and quick witted May the laughter never part PdV and Dark Angel I'm so glad you're friends of mine I'd be lost without you two Two dear friends that are so fine Christopher and Dream Evil Two dark writers I have known They're talents leave me in awe With the kindness they have shown Isis and Roxane and more All these poets have touched me Simply cannot name them all There in Passions poetry Micahel I do thank you so From the bottom of my heart Your words of encouragement Have been there from the start Though I saved the best for last We cannot forget the one RON who brought it all to us Through the work that he has done I wanted to say thank you Poets, each and everyone You each are very special In my dark you are the sun. whtdove- you are just a ray of sunshine. i never expected to find my name in here.. always optimistic and encouraging. in fact, it was you who first took an interest in what i was writing. that means so much to me and i never got to properly thank you. i want to write a poem as a tribute to YOU, but i don't know where to start. i hope that anyone else who has an idea will try to also, because you deserve some of the happiness that you radiate to us at PiP. i guess that i will try to write something for you, so please look for it. thank you so much for being the kind person that you are. |

Thank you for the heartfelt tribute to this wonderful place. It's become a family, surely as if we were all brothers and sisters. We may not agree on the style of poetry or the content or the right way to roll our toilet paper, but that's what makes a family - a group of loving individuals. I remember the day you showed up. You posted a spiritual poem and I thought how wonderful it was that we could go from such uplifting work to the humor of Toe, Balladeer and LngJhnAg to the dark of DreamEvil and Michael to the sweetness of Hoot and RainbowGirl and to the excellence of Nan! Diversity is ours....passion is ours...love is ours...and this place is ours...our home. Thank you for a lovely poem! |

I come to passions to spill my heart, not really knowing just where to start. I read these poems, all filled with love, and know these writers are blessed from above. Although Kind of obscure and sometimes shy, I feel drawn here, don't really know why. This community is a place I want to part of, to continue admiring poets like you, whitedove. PdV you're so right! This is a home to a lot of people. Even though we don't agree which way to roll the toilet paper. LOL Glad I found it. Saxoness thank you for your poem! That means a lot. You're drawn here because of all the wonderful people that fill this place. There is no other like it! Rainbow glad you could be soothed, but I didn't mean to put ya to sleep. LOL Christopher and Dream I thank you both! But you see I am not one who is used to compliments. You all make me blush, thank you for including me. Toe I can't help but LOL at your words. If not for you and the others I don't think I would have much laughter in my life. You guys can make a real crappy day go a whole lot better. Laughter truly is the best medicine. |
