Of Kings and Poets Who is king? A modest man of little means governing an island in compassion addressing subjects by name- or this man who rules the entire Earth knowing neither islands nor compassion? True, both are rulers Who is King?? What is poetry? That which is born from the heart of a man schooled by a life hard fought or the scribble in ink from a scholar of years? Both is poetry, yes.. Yet one is to be sensed The other to be merely read. RB ------------------ if you can dream; you can fly...if you are flying; you are dreaming. |

What a way to make somebody really think, with only a few well placed words! Good job! |

For what it's worth.....everything written from the soul has 'soul' and is therefore worthy. : ) |

Excelent poem. Good thought provoking message. My thought. Many people can place words together to provide information. A Poet breathes their own life and soul into their writing and thereby gives it life. Ohme |
