Of love fair won It has been read, written, tongued and sung. It has been groaned, moaned, fettered and hung. It has been sworn, torn and brought to the gun. All in the name of love fair won. It has been harnessed, bridled left undone It has flown the stars, mars, tattooed our bun. It has captured in praise the moon and sun. All in the name of love fair won. It has turned the world to wild profanity And some times very close to insanity. Yellow, white, red, brown, what ever someone. All in the name of love fair won It has smitten some kings to uncrown their crown. And it has turned much of the world upside down. But mostly it's the broken hearts by the ton. All in the name of love fair won. |

Oh, love does have a mighty power, doesn't it? (perhaps too much, sometimes, I think!)...ooops, there I go thinking again! ------------------ Denise |
