Drowning old memories that threatened to start.
A kiss, a sigh, and a tearful goodbye.

Where was I heading and thinking just then

Where would be comfort that I could find
When somewhere in the corners of my mind
Was...a kiss, a sigh, and a tearful goodbye.

Is it the rain or the overcast sky?
Perhaps it's nothing and everything
About that different time.
Is the song that plays in my head
Or the scent that won't leave me
Following me even to bed.
A kiss, a sigh and
A tearful goodbye.

Maybe I'm crazy to still feel this way
After all this time and so few days.
And stillI I wonder if miles from here
Another soul remembers perfectly clear
