"Bald Hill"

Where am I, On this deserted cliff edge
Where the night's not clear, yet, very clear
Taking in the beauty, I rest upon the sand wedge
Feeling bizzare, but surprisingly not feeling any fear

A breeze caresses my face as it blows
The night air calm with a sense of magic
The mystic moon overwhelms me as it glows
Not to have experienced this would be so tragic

The dark clouds forming such beautiful figures
Finally breaking and passing slowly by the moon
In awe as I watch such a sight, my mind it triggers
This night, this sky, this moment, a time most opportune

This place, an eerie feeling about the night
As she shines brightly upon calm waters below
La Luna, Oh how she beckons me to take full flight
As I am seduced, by her surrounding halo of golden glow

Excitement takes over as I feel a sudden chill
I want to visit here again, this place they call, Bald Hill.

My dear, the formatting alone you worked wonders with. I have seen that same moon from many places. She is indeed lovely.

A very nice read....wonderful imagery in this piece. I loved these lines:
"La Luna, Oh how she beckons me to take full flight
As I am seduced, by her surrounding halo of golden glow"
