Ramblings

The wanting blankness of you
waiting, yearning to be filled
waiting, impatient for the thrill
of phrases of gold, just for you.

White, oh so pallid, pale you are
never any other palest shade
for to be so tinted, colored
would decrease what is said.

Black now on white, do write
more and more, fill the core
even fill in all the edges
paper beseeching pen for more.

Which came first, paper or ink?
