My friend never lets me get down on myself.
My friend never lets me speak negative words about myself.
My friend picks me up when I am down and brings me down when I am high.
She never lets me give up on hope and she pushes me to keep on trying.
She encourages me in all I do.
She is there for me when I am blue.
She shares in my joy and cries with me in my blues.
She helps me when I need it.
She was near me for the best and stands by me through the worst.
She's the one I wanted to hold my hand when I pierced my tongue; she's the one who sparked that interest.
She held my hand and rubbed my hair, she lessened my fear, and numbed the pain during a traumatic procedure.
My friend is good and rich in life.
My friend spreads joy to all she sees.
I'll never forget the times we've shared and I welcome many more to come.
This I write for my best friend and my soul mate, Ms. Stacy Ann.

All my love and devotion.

Nice tribute here - and I think that pretty much sums up the definition of a true friend!

THank you! She means the world to me and in her eyes I see the Earth, Wind and Fire.
