Acid rain

Know, the acid rain of sorry,
Drops the darts of cured curari.
Piercing the hide of sanity
Dealing distress to vanity.

The poison works its deadly deed
Like over watering a seed.
Virusing the oaken door,
Until it dissolves the core.

And the sorry pain of sorrow,
Eats in our bones and marrow.
Grudging the growth of the new,
Excepting for a very few.

And to these few those hardy scant,
I beg you try again, replant.
For self inherent in sorry,
Lies the curing of curari.

Thus in virtue the sorry bends,
The yin and yang of sorry ends.

After looking up curari in the dictionary I realized the depth of this poem. I liked it very much.

Moonseed plant, twining conspicuously
renders me limp, as devilishly
from the source is born
curari, a sleeping or killing form.

From beauty it's struck
bringing recipient ill luck
for in my bloodstream it courses,
from purple berry, it's sources.

When first taken paralysis strikes,
not unlike love's swift bite,
so please, no more curari for me,
I'd rather defend love vigourously.

I like it Sy! Always on the lookout for something different! Well done!
