I am not fearful of death for I have been trapped within it's jaws and faced the eyes that blaze the fire as I confronted and paused But I looked beyond the face and felt a sense of grief a perception and a readiness to enter into another relief But death released me from it's grasp it allowed me to retrieve what I had lost and awaken to love enveloping love that could not exist without cost ------------------ ~*~ Time erases and rewrites all the lines. What remains is the poetry! ~*~ |

Echo, my heart sings to know you're ready to meet hope and faith with hungry arms....Death has only been your worst enemy....don't ever let him steal you away from us....Live every day with the knowing that you have conquered all....& rejoice at your newfound strength !! Bravo! ------------------ I beckon you to come...I lure you with my tongue... - poet FemmeFatale |

Hopeful and well-written. When you cheat death, you do not escape unchanged ... he leaves with you a heightened sense of appreciation for the simple things in life. It is this that shines through in this poem. Echo, we celebrate your return to happiness. God bless you. Beautifully written. I hope your heart finds what it is looking for. ------------------ Deverone "We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out". ----Ray Bradbury--- |
