I sit in my room,
alone,
confused,
hurting.

My mind races with a million thoughts.
I long to tell you what my heart is feeling,
but I don't.

I am afraid.
Afraid of finding out,
that what I have been thinking,
is reality of which I must face.

But I can't.
I don't want to.
I need you,
I just can't lose you now.

I wonder late at nite,
Will I ever hear your voice again?
Will I ever have our eyes meet again?
Have out bodies touch up against each other?
Or is it too late?

Teams stream down my face,
making it hard to see straight.
Just like my future,
unstable and foggy.

I don't want a future without you.
You are my light to see,
the will which enables me to live.
You're everything I have always needed and wanted.

Without you,
I will be alone.
Not able to feel young again.

I need you,
always have and always will.

Will I ever have you again?
Be able to tell you all my dreams and fears?
But most of all,
Will I ever to tell you,
"I love you forever and always,"
just one last time?

Megan... This is beautiful! I can really appreciate this from personal experiences and hope only the very best outcome for you
