Why do we cry? Why did they die? Blood shed, Children dead. Mother's sorrow, No tomorrow. Children buried By one she married. No fears. No tears. Just pain. Unrelenting, Unforgiving, Pain. A painful week for small town America. |

Powerful piece filled with despair and 'why?'. Why, indeed. It never makes sense to anyone I suppose, except to the 'sick' people who commit these horrible atrocities. ------------------ Denise |

Oh my Mike...for so few words, this sure makes an impact. I can not even begin to imagine the things you see daily in your line of work. My heart goes out to you sometimes as I know that things can not be easy. I thnk you for sharing these things with us so we are aware of the cruelities of life, when you see all of that, sometimes you look more favorably on your own life. Thanks and God Bless. ------------------ Man can not discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore. |

There is nothing sadder than a violent death of a child..they are so innocent! That you can bring such depth to your poetry from your work amazes me! You are truly gifted! |
