Sometimes it seems that we forget
our loved ones need to hear
how much we truly love them
and how much we truly care

For as we grow older
time begins a race
and somehow we get caught up
in it's rathered hurry pace

Days, months,
even years slip by
without so much as
"hello" or "good-bye"

But within our hearts
strong feelings remain
though no words have been spoken
our love is unchanged.

Great poem.....people who have been together for a while tend to take their lover for granted, but they love them all the same.

Lovely sentiments Echo, If we all told people we loved them and appreciated them more often, I think the world would be better for it. Thanks for a beautiful reminder
